WWE and Netflix are on the verge of a big milestone and it looks like they’re pulling out all the stops to celebrate. This will be a big milestone for the streaming giant as the inaugural episode of the Raw series on the Netflix platform was aired on January 6 of the current year. This means that the agreement between the entertainment giant and the streaming giant will soon complete one year.
In honor of this special occasion, it seems like both parties are willing to do something a little different to engage their fan base. Netflix released season 5 of Stranger Things in November, and it appears the new streaming service is ready to give the popular show an even bigger boost, courtesy of WWE. This special event is scheduled to take place during the January 5, 2026 edition of Raw.
RAW meets stranger things
Netflix gave fans a hint of the upcoming collaboration on its social media platforms with a video clip showing what the WWE logo would look like with a Stranger Things theme.

This is a huge cross-promotional opportunity for both parties involved. WWE gets a “special” episode of one of its shows, conveniently timed around the one-year mark of being a Netflix-exclusive franchise, and Netflix gets to use WWE’s popularity to advertise one of its leaders. It’s a win-win situation for everyone involved, and fans will get something new and exciting along the way.
Netflix excited about WWE partnership
The optimism that Netflix has regarding its partnership with WWE is not limited to Raw. This is because Netflix recently announced details of Season 2 of their show “WWE: Unreal”, which shows their enthusiasm towards the brand. As per the announcement of Season 2 of their show “WWE: Unreal” by Netflix, this new season of their series includes a new story with incredible characters like Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, Becky Lynch and more.
Judging by Raw special episodes, crossover promotions, as well as new content already within the WWE world, the growing partnership between the two entities is really taking some shape. Only time will tell if there will be more episodes coming or perhaps some new titles. Still, WWE is going to be bolder on Netflix.
