Fans were on hand to watch the performance at Disney’s Hollywood Studios “Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular” Viral video captures wild moments as giant ball rolls off track.
Guests initially appeared to be amused by the accident during a recreation of the iconic scene from “Raiders of the Lost Ark.” However, those brief laughter soon turned to concern as the large bouncing ball went off its track and towards the audience.
Just then a park employee faced the directionless sphere with his forearms outstretched and bracing for impact.
But he was no match for the fake boulder, which easily knocked him to the floor.
The man successfully stopped the motion of the prop towards the crowd, but did not immediately stand up after the strike as fellow employees approached the employee who was lying on his back.

A Disney spokesperson confirmed the incident occurred, but did not provide any further details, such as when exactly the accident occurred or the extent of the employee’s injuries.
“We are focused on supporting our Cast Members who are recovering,” Disney said. “Safety is at the heart of what we do, and that element of the show will be modified as our safety team completes its review of what happened.”
