WWE SmackDown has seen the rise and fall of some long-standing rivalries in its history, and it looks like one such rivalry is going to come to an end next week during the first SmackDown in 2026. Aleister Black, since his return to WWE in the current year, has mostly been feuding with former World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest, with their rivalry dating back to around the time of SummerSlam 2025.
Black made his intentions clear after targeting Priest twice
Last week, it appeared that Priest had put his feud behind him, but he was attacked twice by Black during the episode. The first time in the opening segment of the show, and then an even more brutal attack by Black backstage. Following Priest’s elimination from tonight’s episode, Black and his wife Zelina Vega were shown in a video package saying that the issue between the two wrestlers will end when Black decides it is over.
A bitter feud is moving toward its final conclusion
The feud between the two has reached its peak over the past few weeks and the match is already set for next week’s show, perhaps like last time, they want to make the ring their place to settle their differences.
