WWE Integrity’s 50th Anniversary was a big party for Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie McMahon has a strong argument for being the most famous female WWE star in years. She was the boss’s daughter and who competed during the main event of wrestling shows and also wrestled in her backstage roles. The superstars they faced included Hall of Famer Trish Stratus and both women had intense and controversial storylines.
WWE icons move on from a controversial chapter
In 2001, Trish was portrayed as Vince McMahon’s mistress, while his real-life ex-wife Linda McMahon was portrayed as a paraplegic. The storyline reached its peak when Vince’s real daughter, Stephanie McMahon, became involved in a feud with Trish at No Way Out.
Despite past problems and the long history between them, it looks like the female wrestling icons have finally reconciled. Just a few days ago, Trish Stratus posted a video on Instagram of 50 long-stem roses that Stephanie McMahon sent her for her 50th birthday on December 18.
Trish also jokingly asked Steph if sending flowers was an apology for allowing their past to be forgotten in the same way, as Stratus replied in her caption that it did.
,[Video caption]:So you think I’ll forget about everything by sending 50 long stemmed punk roses of different colors with baby’s breath on my 50th birthday??
[Post Caption]:yes @stephaniemcmahon, it worked. love you!”
A Hall of Fame career that spanned generations
Trish Stratus left wrestling in 2006 but continued to make occasional appearances in later years. In 2013, she became a WWE Hall of Fame member and then in 2022, she returned to wrestling full-time, which resulted in her having a major feud with Becky Lynch. She is a 7-time Women’s Champion and has also been a Hardcore Champion once.
Why is Stephanie McMahon’s WWE legacy undisputed?
Stephanie McMahon was also a one-time WWE Champion, although she was not the most active wrestler in the ring. The position he held to make the most impact at the California-based company was the position of chairman and co-CEO from 2022 to 2023. A spot in the Hall of Fame has already been booked for him in 2026.
